problem! i killed my dream!

hi,

i tried to install a skin, i put all files in there right place. i got into chose that skin, it required to restart.

ok, restart.

but, the dreambox started to contenue restarting, restart, restart, without stoping!

i can't connect with it by ftp!!

who can i solve this problem?

hi ,put new image with dreamup serial only (com)

upload thru serial port

upload the new image with dreamup and use rs232 cable connect with computer com port with stb rs232 port in back side of stb.

maybe the only way to do it:
use this : dreamUp_DM500 ver. 1.1.0.0, seriel RS232 0-modem cable
and off course a good working image for you´r DM500

i'm now searching over this serial cable, i'v asked in computers shops about, but they don't have it.

i'll search in satelite's shops soon. but i don't know really what is image! i'll be gald if someone gave me the best for my dream dm-500.

The problem is that the skin wasnt compatiable or you put something in the wrong place and it's screwing up enigma...the only way to fix it is to reflash with dreamup....just need a null modem cable mate. Sorry to sound like the rest but they're giving you the right advice.
