Card sharing

hi,
i have got a programmer in the rs232 port of the dream with a season interface in it, trying to work with sids program both with radegast and newcamd, and neither work, i have adjusted the delay times, and used a gold_atr.hex card, and when i connect, i get with radegast:

ATR sent (this works right)
01 02 02 00 00 00 3E
Then nothing else happens

With newcamd,

ATR sent (this works right)
01 02 01 00 00 00 3D
then nothing happens

any suggestions??

never done it with sids program but it works with Gwin + gold ATR +Radegast

in Radegast have you got Phoenix turn on ? aslo in the new images rs232 is of by default

yes, i have the phoenix on, as i can see the atr being send etc, and it is on in the settings,
Any suggestions? can i have Gwin and sids using the same port on my server?

I know that way has worked with GWN.........however if you get yourself a 2.09 cam (around $125) stick that in the slot, then stick your season in that, yes I know that works with just about everything ..........don't get the 2.06 cam, cause it doesn't like other network stuff happening

hay what reader/programmer do u have it has to be max232 type Phoenix

yes it is an old phoenix max232 type programmer (jaycar mark 1)

thanks for your advice, but i dont really have much $$ left spent alot on sat stuff in the last couple of months. I really want to be just using the programmer, and hotchips says that the 2.06 are better as compatible with EURO-I and FAST-I??? the 2.09 may not be compatitble with the Pay-tv providers in the future??

Fair enough Mate OK, so do you have a card to test the Phoenix to dream set up first ??, I suppose even an old goldie would do as you could still perform the 'test' using the Auroa service..........that will comfirm that your dream and phoenix are 'talking'.............as you no doubt know dreams are funny things sometimes, so maybe re download your control Panel, and get the latest radegast 3 beta 11 at the moment, some of the betas have had various things crippled in them. OK so that works OK then next I'd test the Season, obviously if you only have the Dream that is gonna be difficult........

As I said I have not ever tried your method with Sids...........

i know that the phoenix is working as i put the fox red card in it and the card started working straight away, the season works right in the humax with the same setup!!
