FTP Problems

Hi
Can anyone advise on the best combination of image and softcam for a Dreambox 7020-S. A softcam that does'nt shut down the FTP server on the Dreambox would be good. Had problems with newcamd shuting down the ftp server on the box regardless of which image I've tried.
I've tried different ftp packages but no luck the ftp server remains closed, even to root.
Also when newcamd is run the only thing that comes back is sytax error "unexpected ")""
any help would be appreciated.

I use Total commander for FTP in my PC ( whether on Win 98 or Xp ) ....and it has never mattered to what ever image ive had in the Dream 7020 or Dbox2 ..regarding softcams . It sounds like you have a Networking issue ..not a dreambox problem . Sorry - but I cannot relate to this problem you have .

Nor can I. Should not make any difference what cam u use.
