Emu for Humax
Hi all, quite a while back I upgraded my H5400 firmware so that I could enter keys via my remote control, the upside was that I didn’t have to swap between my *ustar card & *urora Card, I simply left the *ustar card in and was able to View both networks, I recently upgraded my *urora card and I’m back to swapping my cards to watch either network, My problem is I cant remember The procedure to the get keys, I do remember it was so simple!!, but I cant for the life of me remember what I used!, I have copyed the card to a goldie, and would appreciate any help or point me to a link or forum which tells what program I need to write these keys down so that I might enter them into my humax and go back to using just the one card. Cheers.

Re: Emu for Humax "Its all Good!"
Hey.... I fount it!!, I new it was so easy, fount the program on an old backup CD I made, the program if anyone else is interested is called "ggedit" put ya card in, read it, write down the information, punch it into your Humax via the remote and away you go... so easy.
You no when I asked for help on this subject I thought a site with so many members, that one of you so called experts could have told me the answer to what must be a common question for us beginners, (what program do I need to use?) I wasn’t asking for a kidney or part of someone's liver.... just a simple question.... pretty lame! I though the idea of the site was to help one another?
“Yes” I did search this site and the Austec site but couldn’t find any relevant help.
And "TIME" you need to read my post again mate... I didn’t say I put the keys in and they didn’t work?, I was.... O' never mind.... just read it again, good luck cobber. If you or anyone else needs a step by step "how to" on this subject just let me no I would gladly write it down for all us beginners.... god no’s We all got to start somewhere guys! If we don’t ask how can we learn? Kindergarten stuff guys!
If we don’t pass on what we have learnt… well what’s the point!
Peter.

Re: Emu for Humax
The keys roll every few minutes,
so noone is interested in entering them anymore.
Sounds like you have been hiding under a rock.

Re: Emu for Humax
Hi Z80,
Thanks for the input mate much appreciated, under a rock... maybe.. Maybe a mushroom would be more appropriate, believe it or not us beginners try very hard to learn as much as possible, which you may or may not agree can be most difficult on such subjects. As for keys rolling? Well my keys must be stuck in the door... they've been punched into my humax for about 2 weeks now and it’s still working fine? perhaps I need to trade my rock in for new a forum?
Thanks as always.

Emu How Too
I wasnt going to bother, but bugger it, maybe i'm doing somthing right if its still working...
USING HUMAX EMU.
HOW to Transfer a Working GoldCard’s information to Your Humax
So that you no longer need to have that card in the card reader slot.
Please don’t Steal Pay for TV that is definitely not what this Tutorial
is about, its only meant to be for legal card holders who don’t have
a CAM and want to watch two services without swapping there cards over.
USING: “11-LOADER_V18C” Load card, read and write down line ‘00’ for both Prov00 and Prov10 this is done by pressing the PROV10 button, For some reason ggedit starts at line ‘01’ not sure if the humax EMU needs line ‘00’ but it dose start there so this is the one and only reason for using this program.
Next USING “GGEDIT” Load Card, Read and write down ProvID00 and ProvID10 list from line ‘01’ to line ‘11’
Next Read and write down the HMK this is at the bottom and is a 10 X2 digit number the HMK will be the same for ProvID00 and ProvID10 as you put these code lines into your Ram editor
Read and write down the PMK00 and PMK10 these are obviously different for each provider this is also at the bottom left and is a 8X2 digit number
Next read and write down the HSN this is a 3X2 digit number
Next read and write down the PrID00 and PrID10 this is a 3X2 digit number.
This is all the information you will need.
Next Go to Your Humax open the menu, ToH, Parser, Ram editor Press blue to take you to Idreto and start transferring your information.
In the first heading “Provider” enter your ProvID00
Then start putting in the lines of code starting at line 00 and finishing at line 11
Remembering that all lines that have no code to change all the 00 or what ever is there to FF. Once you’ve reached line 11 go to the top of the right hand page and enter the following,
In Hex put Your HSN. 3X2 digit number
In HMK put in your 10X2 digit HMK
And in PMK put in your 8X2 digit PMK
Now go back to Provider and the top left hand side and press Right arrow to open a new page so that you can now enter all your ProvID10 code lines as above but of cause with all the relevant ProvID10 code. Once you’ve done this Go back to the Main menu ToH and enter into the Config, at the bottom make sure the ‘CAID Preselect’ is set to CARD+EMU exit the menu and your done.
NOTE: You still need to have a card in the card reader, but now you will be able to view the channels that you would have normally needed to put in your Other Card to view. EG you can now keep your main viewing card in the reader and still be able to View your other channels without swapping cards.
I will Upload Both Programs with this POST. As: “ALLYOUNEED.ZIP”
Well that’s it, if any one else has a shorter version or there are steps I didn’t need to do please feel free to add to this post, im only a beginner and as stated before in previous post if you don’t ask then you cant learn. And after all that is what the sites about right?.......
O’ and again Please don’t Steal Pay for TV that is definitely not what this Tutorial is about, its only meant to be for legal card holders who don’t have a CAM and want to watch two services without swapping there cards over. Be good!

i've been using there downloads for quite some time and never had any problems. the latest firmware is "Xamuh_HoT75_DigiTV"
not sure which firmware, but one before this is a full firmware update and reqires a hardware modification to the humax motherboard, the download comes with all information and even a picture to follow, it would pay to check the site.
