web-x-tv only works with some channels

Hi anyone knows why the web-x-tv plugin only works with some channels?
in C*bo, for instance the Fox channel works, but Sic doesn't...
Looks to me that only a few set of channels works... any clues?

Re: web-x-tv only works with some channels

I asked the same question in the VLC forum the other day, though I'm still waiting for an answer....

Have you tried to use " all ES (elementary streams)" checked in preferences? I suspect this is where the problem could be ( VLC attempting to open stream that doesn't exist).

Your absolutely right (Settings->Preferences->Stream Output->Enable streaming of all ES). Although I notice it only works when outputing. But thats no problem you can just output to http. Thanks a lot.

No luck here. Ony can use videolan (and related software) on FTA channels. Have enabled the options you indicate and still no luck. I've got a 7020 with a 2.8 Gemini. ¿Could it be that dreambox is sending the encrypted stream?

@tonig123

What sat/channels are you having problems with. Personaly using a 7020 with gemini 2.7 and Newcamd 6.10 I have no problems viewing almost all channels with VLC on (13e, 19e or 28e) that I can see on the tv.

Re: web-x-tv only works with some channels

Jokerbird: Been there, done it, no go.

Usbhell: I'm trying with the channels at hispasat (30W, D+) with camd3. I'll try it on 19.2e and keep ypu updated.

Thanks for your help!

Re: web-x-tv only works with some channels

Fair enough, even if you got the all streams method working, most of those channels have multiple soundtracks and they sound rubbish, because you hear the spanish and english at the same time. The ones on 19e work fine though.
