Jaycar phoenix type sc reader/reprogrammer (KC5342)

Hi,
I built this kit when it first came out and put it aside because I couldn't make it work I've decided to have another go but I can't find the original article so all I have is the made-up pcb. This kit has 2 ic's and 2 xtals. A 74hc00 and a max232cpe, a link to select (I think) the 6mhz or 3.579545mhz xtal.
Does anyone have a copy of the article from Silicon Chip, Jan 2003? & any suggestion about software to use it?
Thanks
dallas

Have a look around for any general smartmouse/pheonix diagrams they are all very similar so you should be able to work out how it fits together, i guess you have a few resistors and capacitors aswell to fit ?
