Re my cardserver problem.

Feel like a bit of a plonker at the moment. Just found out that my card is broken! Replaced it with another card and it works fine.

Unhappy

the reason I asked the question of the Hydra team is because there have been NO previous problems with these cards within their images.
Now with the new Phoenix there is a problem.
I was just wondering
A. if they were aware of a similar problem and
B. if so, did they have a solution, or at least, an answer to it !!
I fully understand that Hydra does not make newcamd but seeing as its been fine within other fine Hydra images...........

Please Help

Working perfect in multiboot with FW here.

Make sure to have a 1.09 image in flash before installing.
My 1102 CVS 1.09 image or other newer CVS images are ok for flash.
DO NOT use the original first beta 1.09 from DMM in flash (it is busybox bugged).

Good morning Musicbob.

I have one question and you are the most probable canditate to answer this for me.
Since I decide to make the plunge to 109, I started with your complied cvs 11-02-05 and then using the other images on USB.
Your complied image has FP 1.04.
Now this and some other CVS image have 1.05 FP.

What shall we do about this....is it important to have this on flash when one wants to run this or other images on USB with 1.05 FP???

I am a bit mixed up on this issue.

Thanks

Well if you want the image to run properly on USB i would update the FP to the correct version for the latest image

Question videolan (VLC) does not work?

The new image is great - very few (if any) hangups, and it has lots of features. My congratulations!

However, I could not get VLC to work - it always displays a blank page, no files inside.

Yep, I edited its XML file to reflect my setup, such as 10.0.0.2, port 8080 and
d:/movies. I also tried without any firewall and verified that it works on the 10.0.0.2 by browsing it with Explorer on the PC.

Did anyone have any luck?

Thanks, -t

No idea why, but after re-installing it, it started working all by itself
Sorry for the troubles, -t
