Polish Channels

Like many of us, I'm also a big fan of the Hydra images but resently I'm starting to have some problems with the Polish channels (both the TVN channels and the Polsat ones). Mostly, after switching between the different cams and downloading the different softcam packages, it start to work and I think that I solved the problem (although I still don't know what I did). Unfortunately, after some time, these channels go black again and I have to start all over again.

- Is there anybody who can see these channels without problems and if yes, could you please tell me which image and cam you're using?

- Is this a specific problem with Hydra or do all images have these problems?

I have the same problem. TVN is not there anymore since a few weeks and I use the latest Ronald image. I tried different emu's but unfortunately no result. I was hoping that more people have this problem and would post it on the forum, but so far I haven't found a lot. If you know more please let me know.

Hi!.

In the Hydra Images you just choose Newcamd as EMU, then you have these channels all the time. If black then wait a little and the picture comes. If you have downloaded Marys Key Bundle.
When using Radegast EMU its the SoftCam.Key that is used. And these are not always updated, because they shift key many times a day.
Hope this can explain it for you.

Gaj1, thanks for your reply. I'll try it this evening. So far I was using the lastest Radegast and simply tried all the key bundels.

Resently I also started to get problems with the Dutch channels. While zapping through them some are not automatically displayed and I have to zap back and forward to clear the channel. Do you have any idea what the reason for this might be?

regarding polsat sport, i seem to have a problem even when using newcamd (i updated mary's keys today) - the picture seems to "stick" constantly. anyone else have this problem or any idea what this might be due to?

I have just made a litle test here on my Boxes. Dont seem to get these problems here in Hydra Olympia 1.08 on both Boxes. Images are installed in interrnal flash, not on stick or anything else.
Checked Polsat and the Dutch channels to, but couldnt get it to "stick" and dont have to zap forward or back, the picture is there at once.
I used Radegast and Newcamd, but...no problems.
So I cant help you here.

i still have hydra atlantis, no olympia - could this be the reason? also, does it make a difference if i put olympia on a usb stick?

Yesterday I tried what you suggested and, for as far as I could see, it worked. Probably this time I was patient enough to wait a few moments before trying something else.

I also noticed that the new version of Newcamd (16) doesn't display this irritating information box anymore when you switch to another channel. I don't know if this was just a setting which I missed somewhere but I'm glad its gone and everything is working.
