Can someone verify addons via internet is working for Davinci 5.8.
I've tried the new link a few times http://www.luzyhell.sk/sdt/ but only get the message "try again later"
Is there a certain time when it's open?
Would love some information please!

I had this problem...Just solved when I moved the var folder to usb (I had the the image in flash)

I have the same trouble with image on USB. Always same message.

Sometimes it works but this is very rare. I gave up and went back to using another image which is sad because DaVinci images normally ROCK!

I suspect it may be a traffic issue so will keep trying and hope it is soon back to normal.

Make sure to have a swap file enabled and active.... coz maybe a low-memory problem.
Or maybe internet connection too... but from here download is working, tested right now ....

Can you please explain HOW you got the dm to update as mine wont....its connected to the router and i can ping and ftp into it.

I did it correct, im sure. But i cant reach the update site. ".... try again later"
i can ping the site from the box. i try it to use the ip address instead of the name....
I can access it with my pc web-broser.
everything looks good.

just if i try it over the menu, is see the correct entry in the web site field, but cant reach the site.
I using 5.8 in flash. have a swap file on a USB Stick. also the var folder is there.
Please give me an idea what else i can try.

hmmm, no it works...
what i have done:
moved back over the menu the var to the flash.
Box hangs.
reboot
of course, settings and addons gone.
moved it again, back to the usb.
start the menue and update page and changed with the RC just the one letter
.../sdt .../udt
now it works....
no idea why, looks same as before, but it works.
restoring now my bouquets and add on´s.
