NEW Addon Download Page - Page 2

Hi! I am new to Da Vinci images, but since I have heard it's great I would like to get some experience with it.
I am running Da Vinci 5.4 Final (multiboot back up one on USB stick) on Dreambox 7000. I have tried to manually install manually cams and locales downloaded from this new page, but couldn't succeed! After confirmation of the question "Do you want to install e.g. "SDT Da Vinci 5.4Newcamd_6.10p.tar.tar" or "SDT Da Vinci 5.4RU_locale.tar.tar" I receive an error message of sort "Sorry, it is not a STD addon".

Any one have an idea what's wrong?

Rename the addons to *.tar.gz before installing.

It's a bug of Internet Explorer, if you use Firefox the addons will be downloaded as .tar.gz (and not as .tar.tar)

Thanx for the tip! I did try it for some, but without succes! O.k. There could've been some mess of files and bugged Dreambox. I will try again tonight with the newly downloaded files and see if it works...

Is it possible to recompile also gSUB plugin. The latest version is 0.91.

Wrong. You CAN access this directly from the Dreambox:
1) Go into var/SDT/ with your favourite FTP client or DCC.
2) Create a new file named addons.url
3) Paste the following into the empty file: http://www.luzyhell.sk/sdt/
4) Save the file

That's it.

Yes... But you must answer that Eagle say that two weeks ago, and the solution you are givin' is ok with the DaVinci 5.7 final online since this morning only
