Perth Sat TV

After looking at various web sites about is on offer on sat tv, I am not yet convinced in spending that much money on a sat setup. What (specifically to perth users) type of channels are available out there and what decent shows are available? At the moment I have fox and normal fta which is around 40 channels - yet as most of you know, there usually isnt anything on aside from repeats and utter tripe. Is a sat setup going to offer me decent programming or will i just have 100 more channels to surf and get bored with?

here is a site that will tell you what is on optus B3h. So with one dish you will get these and you will get the DTH with a DTH coco. If you get two dishes and the right box you can get a french porn XXX channel too

most people that do this for a hobby dont actually watch muc htv at all. I assume u currently have fox cable. Thats why you are asking about a sat setup as if you already had a sat setup you could already be watching all the channels

Yeah I shipped my box upto my father as I can't be stuffed watching paytv. Would prefer to surf the net. I have all the goods just no box.. I'm waiting on getting a DVB-s once they are back in stock... And even on that there is no Horizontal but I don't give a shit as I can do a lot more with my Sat pci card then some dumb decoder box. Anyway the porn channel is all you need Especially when your married!

When you talk about the porn channel are you saying that you can get the ku programming from the French channels in Western Australia.? Or are you talking about the South African service on Ku. Maybe there is something on C band I have overlooked.
Cheers,
Sat A
