crosspole is wrong....

try twisting the angle of the lnb.....it is pretty easy to accesss the tuning page(of box)where ya signal strength and quality are and leave it on that page and get up on the roof and twist LNB say a 2mm at a time and check the differrence on the screen.....bit of trial and error...

Presumming you mean that you want to pick up the AURORA FTA channels, the reason you didn't get any quality is because the FEC posted by Rapid is incorrect.
The LNB will be set correctly if the dish was receiving Fox (The installer will have rotaed the lnb to obtain the highest cross poll reading and left it set to that optimum position)

For Aurora services use 12407, Vertical, 30,000 and 2/3 for the FEC

I have no intention of assigning blame to anyone or pissing anyone off but I stand by my statement.

Ricwilliam isn't receiving any quality with the posted settings and if he wants to pick up the Aurora services 12407, V, 30,000, 2/3 will get him signal level and quality which is what he needs to start with.

and -----because the FEC posted by Rapid is incorrect.

the orig foxtel LNBs were single pol, ie they cant change between V and H so you have to manually rotate them
as you found out
