hi all
does any one know what encryption system mds is
tards on pas 8 is this type of encyption my logger only says system-oo
reguards mark

ooges,

MDS "IS" the type of encryption. It is used by Tarbs World TV exclusively here in the land of Oz.

The people supplying Tarbs the boxes are Mentor Data Systems, you can see their webpage here with the OEM Tarbs box http://www.mentor.com.tw/stb3100.htm

There is no CAM for the MDS system, it can only be decoded using the MDS decoder boxes. The cards are pretty useless to play with as they only give out the serial number of the card when the box is powered up. If the number matches what the box expects the box takes over and gives you pictures.
