C1 and B3 setup

Hi guys.

Firstly I'll explain the setup before I explain my problem.

90cm dish
2 LNB's (C1 and B3)
0/22KHz switch
Humax box

I have got this setup working at 4 different locations without any problems. But at this one place (the only place with a Humax box), I cannot seem to get any signal from the second LNB.

In settings, I have entered 22KHz 'enabled' for the LNB plugged into the 22KHz port on the switch, and 'disabled' for the one in the 0KHz port. I get nothing from the second LNB. I then try enable the 0KHz port, and same result. The signal strength is about 70%, but the quality is 0%.

At home on my box, I am able to select values of 22KHz and 0KHz for each (on the Humax the option is either enabled or disabled), and I get the same strength, and 10% quality immediately, up to 80% once I fine tune the position.

Does anybody have any ideas on why it isn't working? Do I need a diseqc switch instead of a 0/22KHz switch? Like I said, same setups are working elsewhere with different boxes, only this one with the Humax isn't. Am I missing something simple?

Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Try one of your other boxes at that location

You will then know if it is the box or something else

you could also check lnb frequency, wrong frequency = no signal.

Thanks guys.

I took my box to see what was going on. It seems as though there is not enough signal strength. My box, when all connections are fine, shows a yellow bar to indicate the connection is ok - otherwise it is greyed out, which is the case at the moment.

I checked all the F-connections, etc, and they seem to be OK. The only thing I can now think of is possibly a faulty LNB. I'll swap it with one of my working ones I already have setup, and see if this is the case. I hope it is faulty, becuase if it isn't, I'm out of ideas.

Thanks again guys, I'll keep you posted.
