UEC - Where to find software

greetings all,
an old austar unit UEC has come into my possession but the austar software wont allow me near the signal setup features.
I have in the past found software for pace and galaxis machines to reload software into the decoder. Is there any UEC software out there so I can wipe the austar out of its memory and give me full access ??

bugger thats what I thought after an exhaustive search
cheers rickie .. thanks for response .. I guess I go on the lookout for a 2nd hand uec - all I am trying to get is FTA cos reception at my place is a shocker

Not likely, seeing as they never had any, you either mean an ABS-9876 (SMS) or ABS-8776 (ADB) if its Austar, or UEC if it's Foxtel.

What exactly do you mean "wont allow me near the sig setup"
does it ask for a pin ? or some other symptoms.
