Could anyone tell me if it is possible to pick up the free to air channels using a UEC660 box.

head on over to www.lyngsat.com and go into the optus b3 page and you will see all the transponders available on B3. put those transponder settings into your UEC and then do a "tune and rescan". this will load all the channels into the uec. you add them in by going into the "advanced" menu, and if you don't know the pin it probably will be 9949

some of the channels do require a smartcard however (eg aurora) so you won't be able to get these, but there are a few additional channels up there which are totally FTA..

the channels however are mostly rubbish anyway..
