Sogecable signs for two birds

Spanish pay TV operators Sogecable has signed up with both Astra and Hispasat to broadcast its recently-merged digital DTH platform Digital+ until 2017. By continuing the satellite contracts, Sogecable will not have to force half of its customer base to realign their dishes. Previously, Astra beamed services to Sogecable's Canal Satelite Digital, while Hispasat handled Via Digital.
