Anyone want to comment on the ads that are currently running on A*s*ar saying to leave your STB on at 8:25pm on this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a VERY important software upgrade. They are quite insistent that the box MUST be left on.

I've heard that if you are running a goldie your STB will turn into a pumpkin at 12 o'clock...

im subscribed to them,thought i would have got a phone call or a letter from them,partically if this software upgrade is so important,guess ill be out of luck going away this weekend

why would they want to send a letter or phone you when its painted all over the screen,you might find no pictures when you turn it back on, then you will have something to whinge about.
