Try copy this file in your windows/System directory and into your fmcard directory.

itg4u,
I had the same problem in xp. I think it has to do with invalid shortcuts or something. The problem was solved with norton windoctor. I hope this helps, however once I got fmcard to run it still didn't work to well under xp.
Cheers,
John

I don't particularly need or use FmCard, I was just trying to learn about the topic. I chucked it on win98 and it worked.

So there is a lesson to be learnt......... Someone has to point it out to me though!

Kevs,
Are you still getting the same error message. If so download the file to the fmcard folder, right click and choose open with, and search for fmcard, open the ocx file with the fmcard program. Make sure that when you choose this that it is not ticked to open all these types of files with fmcard.
Cheers,
John

itg4u,

right click on the shortcut, goto the tab on the far right and in there is a box called "compatibility mode" make sure that box in uncheked and no other OS is selected. If you try and run FMCard in XP in compatibility mode then you get that error.

Run it in normal XP mode and it will work fine.

cheers, nick.
