Production of the Dreambox DM500-S has been discontinued as of June 2007.

It was replaced by the new model DM500+.

Should you be offered a brand new Dreambox DM500-S, please check thoroughly to see whether that device is a forgery.

On the new packaging of the DM500+ you will find a safety hologram, as pictured below.
