Anybody know anything about these units ? Are they any good for Aussie usage ? The specs appear to be similar to Dreambox 7020. see below

I'm thinking about getting one of these too. It's a manufacturers promotional price at £109 and won't be like this for long.

It's Linux open source and apparently runs on Juliet images, not 100% sure on this yet!

Hopefully more info will spring up.

These boxes seem capable of all the functions available to a dreambox, they do not have a USB port but they do have multi card slot for flashing or playing music or photos also you can install a hard drive.
Images are still a bit unstable but i am hoping that one or two of the established dreambox image writers will port their image over soon.
There are an awful lot of these boxes being sold due to the promotional price.

Well I decided to buy one and having a play with it now. Juliet image seems ok but doesn't have the capabilities of the Nabilo image which i use on my DM7000. I'll persivere with it and see how it goes.

Hopefully more support will arrive as more and more get sold.

Try the Underground Resistance image, bit wobbly but it does have more user friendly online downloads.
