No as the lnb is steered by the box (polarity etc) and there will be conflict. But there are dual LNBs, so you can use one dish.

Re: Pardon my ignorence

My tuner has two ports sat in and sat out.

If i connect my lnb to sat in of tuner1 and then sat out to sat in of tuner 2, is it not possible to receive the same satelite signal on both tuners, even though tuner 1 controls the lnb.

Re: Pardon my ignorence

That will work to some extent.

LNB -> STB A (in) LNB Pwr ON -> STB B LNB PWR OFF

STB B will only be able to tune/watch what is in the same polarity as STB A.

You can get dual LNBs and run 2 coax's (one to each stb) or you can run the 2 coax's into a splitter and have 4 stbs of the 1 dual lnb...

Re: Pardon my ignorence

Alfar

I have found that looping satellite receivers together also reduced the signal strength and signal quality to the downstream receivers. This can be a problem if strengths are not super to start with and can lead to early picture disruption during rain or heavy cloud.

I agree with the posted replies - the only reliable means of using one dish to provide signals for two or more receivers is to replace the single output LNB with a multiple output unit.
