selectv on a pci Sat card ?

Hi , im running running a vp1020 sat pci card
im running progdvb and md-irdeto phoenix cam by mrtoolate 1.06 for ir2 .

I also have gw845 via phoenix and csc client via progdvb newcamd525


my question is I have a selectv card and want to activate it using my setup ,
is this possible ?

ie is it posible to get my card activated via my csc client (all on same pc btw)
which hopefully will pass the emm activation to greywolf and update and activate my card

or

just run md-irdeto phoenix cam by mrtoolate (emmm activated )
and ring for activation .

which way is better , will any of the ways work ?

Hi sam

you would have problems with epsilon cards in general. do not loss time on this , it does not matter what emu you use the same consp.

Had to put the card in my nokia 9660 to get it activated

Anyways managed to use gw and my phoenix card reader a server
and winscs 1.2 build 2488 as a client .

Its working , but i dont think wincsc is passing emms ?
ecms no probs so after 20mins lose pics and gotta get it updated
by box for a minute or so .(althought its been going strong for an hour now)

yes my card is v5 , I look at the gw window and ecm are flying in , but as of yet not one emm passed from the client wincsc .

If your using Greywolf, connect the Nokia via serial to update the Card.

i think you still might have issues CSing the epsilon v5 card.

ok here I go again
card in phoenix
setup
old season in the nokia9660s as a client emm tick in gw (again)

and wow yes it worked omg I get emm's now

been going strong for a few hours , tried progdvb same pc and wincsc and yes that also worked , but sometimes the 9660s went to unknown card when i changed channels on progdvb , But im sure the cause of that is my
old p3 700mhz 256ram etc cant handle the juice ...

Ill be getting a p4 tower 3gig 512-1gig ram , that should be better ,
but id need a few pci com ports installed in that , all newer pc's dont com with rs232 com ports do they ?

wouldnt be having this problem if my kids didnt steal my p4 2gighz ,
kids *s* , they need the spped for the work they say ie games .

next project is to get my hands on a hummy 5400 or 5400z ?
and do the internal season and share that as well !

um in case anyones wondering Im using a v5 card , 209 ci cam rev1.11b and old season
(not even the max232 one think its a compatible with a 740..chip as well)

oh and a nokia 9660s (friends one )

Good to hear..

A Humax would be the best bet and maybe a BF430 as well.
My pc is only P4 1.6g 256mb...does the job just fine.

Do a quick test for me pls..

Have the server on movie1 and leave it.. hook up a client and select TCN for the Kids.

Leave it on for about an hour and tell me if it crashes/freezes.

I'm having issues with the epsilon v5 card when 2 clients are watching different channels.

btw will theres a couple of humax's for sale at the moment they are
ir 5410Z and 5400z

which one should I get ?

The 5400Z has two ci slots right ? so im gona need a season to gointo the ci
no internal season mod can be done on the 5400Z ? or am I wrong .

And ond the 5410Z embedded Is able to do the season mod right?

Will both these box's work with selectv ?

or do they need modifications to work ..

As i read something here bout allcammed and patch etc ...

what do u recommend ..

i'm using a Humax irci 5400 for select..works fine

As long as its irdeto, any decent decoder will work.

You can mode them with an internal season or just use a season in the cardslot

I have seen a bfxxx mounted inside the humax 5400z (the rj45 open to the rear of the unit. The bf and home made season got pwr from inside the humax. the season was soldered to the pins on the card slot. Bingo networked season in a humax

This was a neat solution as once setup it was simply the Humax in the av rack with a network cable plugged in the back...
