New Boxes from Foxtel

Foxtel has already started changing pace boxes over.
A friend has already changed over 100 boxes for them.
He said that within 12 months every one will have new box and differant subcard.
Maybe bad news for some Im not to sure he wouldnt elaborate to much as he was worried his boss was monitoring his phone.

He is an employee of Foxtel who has litigation against them and has put out a F.O.I. on them also.
He has proof that they are following him , So NO i dont think its a XXXX (Edited By Vic) as I have seen it for myself.

Yes but Julie do you understand that only police, Federal & State & Crime Authorities are authorised to do phone taps?...So I think he's stretching the line a little bit there....

UEC 720's are not what you would call NEW boxes , they are standard Foxtel issue and have been for quite a while ( probably almost a year )

There's only two reason I can think of changing the box;
If the old Pace is change to UEC to accept Vers.2 card or Irdeto 2 stream
They're getting ready for C1 and new encryption

My brother had a slight prob with fis f#x pace.A techie came and looked at it ,fixed the problem and left it.Brother dearest insisted that they change over his crappy old box to a new one but they said they weren't replacing paces unless they died completely.this was only 3-4 weeks ago.

My 2 cents worth.
F#x are changing old pace boxs. Clubs and pubs at this stage.
The reason is I believe one of the above as quoted from Aldeto.

Time will tell.

Cheers.
