Receiving NZ TY from Optus B1?

Can New Zealand FTA tv be picked up in Australia. I note on lyngSat site it only says NZ. Maybe it is only beamed there way. I have tried with no luck but thought may be the symbol rate may have changed. Can some one let me know.

The NZ beam is for NZ and fairly sharply defined , although there may be some spill into Australia you would need a monster dish.......

know a few who have tried picking it up along the east coast with a 3.7m with no luck of a glimpse of signal. NO harm in tryn thou i suppose... Good Luck.

Too right! They reckon you need about (wait for it) a massive dish of around 10 metres in size just to pick up New Zealand on B1. Of course, if you just want the Trinity Christian channels (that are also part-based in New Zealand BTW), you're laughing; you just need the normal Foxtel/Aurora-sized dish facing B3.
