Read the I2 cards?
This is my answer to another thread in the forum, so I put it here.
First,
So to clear the muddy statment that FM Card will read the Irdeto2 cards, this what should of been said(No offence meant).
The FM Card Program will only read the basic info from the Irdeto2 cards, and we all know what that is. The Assci, HSN, P00, P10, and the date. So what we need the HMK and PMK is hidden real good.
Second,
So nobody has any info re this problem at all, so why the push for the TIT. Card? No card will work unless you have the HMK or the PMK. I've looked at the info re the TIT card and in some circles it is stated that it is a gold card with a super incription system. Once the TIT cared is set up it can't be read, they say on the net. I could be wrong, but am I?
Third,
The new program that is used in Canada that allows the FTA sat recievers in the world to work without a CARD! This information was published in Bob Cooper's, SatFACTS Monthly, Reporting on "The World" of satellite television in the Pacific and Asia, Vol. 10 - No. 116, April 15 2004.
This program still uses the PMK and has to be updated monthly to work. Their is a similular use here in this part of the world where the ZeeTV programs are being done with sega1, someone still has to get the PMK and post it for the others to watch the channels. As was done also when we could get the French channels here in Australia.
Also some are stating that they are changing the CHIDS on the 4.1 cards. Well when I see it I'll buy him a beer.
Fourth,
So my fine Furry friends do some looking and find out what the others are doing that we are not.
