Smart card HELP
Hi.
I'm a new member to this group.
I need help if any of you can.
I'll try to make it short and simple
rather making a long message help.
I'm looking for a smart card reader/writer
that would allows me to type in the PIN numbers
and/or the address numbers of a satellite descrambler
model, and sent it onto the smart card that would have
the matching numbers when insert the card into the
card slot and able to unlock the decryption. Like
doing this manualy rather automatic codes from
a programed smart card.
Whater the sat receiver descrambler is digital, or analog, it has
the card slot to insert a smart card.
In my case, it's something that I would have to program it
by a smart card.
I have tried a few different ISO Smart card programer
with it's USB port, and I have tried the Gemplus GCR500
smart card unit with it's serial port connector, none of
these products WORKS by using the computer.
I don't think it's Windows XP on my computer. I think it's
the programer itself that doesn't do the job.
Sellers that sold me some of these card programers are
just for "trying out", rather do the REAL THING. Just TESTING.
Well, I don't want to buy something that's only for TESTING
and trying out. I want to buy something that REALY WORKS
and does sends data or whatever I'm attempting to do, to
send it onto the smart card.
The smart cards that I have now are blanks. The ones that
has the gold chip contacts on it.
Some are blank GAM375 authorize smart card, blanks
DTV, Gold card, Access card 4, DSS Access card, Open
Platform, Bell ExpressVu card. All of them are seem to
be blanks.
I know that some of you or many of you know that
smart cards are not always the same types, but they
do all look the same.
Hope that any of you could help for what I'm looking for,
for my needs. I hope that you understand of what
I'm looking for. IF any of you do know what I need,
that would be great!!! Then I would like to know where
and how can I get and how much it would cost me in
US dollars. (money order)
Thank you for taking the time to read my inquiry.
Regards,
Eugene
