NewCamd 6.10 > how to disable the windows each time when i zap ?

Hi to all,

The new cam "NewCamd" v6.10 have new features, just after downloaded/installed this new cam, windows informations appear each time when i change channels, this window bother me really...

Someone know the settings to change for disable this feature ???

..You must edit the file newcamd.conf in /var/tuxbox/config/newcamd/ with a Linux editor (Crimson editor is good), and modify the OSD_TIMEOUT like this:

# 0 seconds -> OSD off
OSD_TIMEOUT = 0

..that's all.

Nice, but the path is wrong for me

(different i suppose)

I don't know where is located the newcamd.conf files

It's due to Genimini install with FlashwizardPro on my compact flash card.
Did you know what is the good path with this install ?
When i browsing to /var/tuxbox/config/ i will be in /etc/tuxbox/config/
Only Enigma shortcut is available, what can i do ?

I remind you my box settings :

DM 7020 (firmware off. Boxman)
Images : Gemini 2.70 | Gemini 2.80 (on Compact Flash 1 Go, multiboot with Flashwizard Pro.)
Parabole G4 (Astra, Hotbird, Sirius, Atlanticbird 3)

I hope that someone can help me.

I have found the reason of this fucking mistake...
The problem is due in fact because i don' t have downloaded and installed the "cam.config" for newcamd (in bleu panel => addons => download&install => cam-config)

However, I understand that some cards (& a few roses or chocolates) still open up a few of the older women.
look out for lib(ido)crypt files and add them to the hex(ironing) bin.
