Strong Channel edit

G'day,

This file will help you edit channels on Strong receivers. It is rather basic but it works. If you don't like it - I'll happily refund your money.

Definately works with 4610II and 4800II - but told it works with all.

excuse my ignorancebut just got a strong 4800mk11 does this connect to serial port on rear and you can then upload to comp then edit then download?

That's the idea. Yes.

Use the same cable as you do to update the eeporm.

I can read the channel from the 4800II STB but can't send to it.
Anyone got it working for Strong 4800 II ?

Same problem can read from box but can not save back to box. Can anyone help!

have actually just done a new channels list tonight

oh forgot

here is the procedure for those of you having dramas use it on ver1.03 thats all i use

comport = 1
flash Qption = 2m
Satnumber = 40

put box in standby mode,
upload channels from strong box
Edit the channels
save it

Turn strong stb off
Click on downloading
You will see this in the progress window

Connecting OK for STB
Waiting message from STB

Then turn on the strong stb again
It will start downloading the new file

When done the STB will show success
