I read some threads long time ago---pysically no problem...power from extra device (i use it for hhd anyways) and the IDE cable as "Y" on the controller ans master/slave like pc. but you can use the file mode to access the drive but what for??? playing music (mp3)? I don't know...you need to test by yourself or someone here has already collected experiences with that...
