Which phoenix/smartmouse do you recommend?

Hey,

I will buy a card reader for my pc and i want your recommendations, since i cannot test any reader before buying. Infinity USB Unlimited looks pretty good, however there are no official drivers for linux, and i want the reader to be able to work both under win and linux. Does anyone know of any unofficial drivers to get infinity usb unlimited working under linux?

Please let me know of different card readers you are using and how satisfied you are. Also do you think its better to get a reader with a serial port and avoid usb readers?

Waiting for your opinions,

m0Z

for use with newcs on linux (slackware) I got the usb mp3.6 card-reader/writer to work perfectly. Running both mgcamd and cccam as clients.
also confirmed working in windows and on a debian box.

I use for about 6 months a "Phoenix/Smartmouse Programmer".
It s only serial (no usb).
I have tested it with both win and debian. Its very reliable and very cheap (approx 15 euros).
I dont want to give links to online shops, cause i dont want to be taken as advertisement. But I think that if you google, you will find out what i mean.

Anyone know the status of the 'infinity usb unlimited' drivers for linux ? I have one sitting in my drawer for the last 2 months hoping... It's destined for the dustbin shortly. It's a nice piece of kit with no serial support on linux which makes it useless without most of the emu's out there.
