Which power supply ?

For those that use the Jaycar Phoenix/smart card programmer may I ask what power source do you use ?

I'm unsucessfully using a battery eliminator plug pack that ranges up to 12 volts but has a 300mA max . I tend to think I need more amps but I really don't know .

Any other views on this ?

Just a thought . Does 300mA max mean 300mA ? As its a cheap Digitor powerplug could the amps be much less .
By the way , Jarcar recommend a powerplug that has 150 amps .

Highly Recommend that u spend the $13.95 on the recommended jaycar power unit. Its a 9vdc 150mA. and appears to work fine.

Reason, I originaly used a 12v 500mA (the docs said a 9-12v would work ok) and now my f&&t*l card is stuffed.

Once i got the right power supply it reads ok now.
