Dynamite Programmer & Dragon/M-II cards

Hi people, I could really do with some assistance.

A mate of mine has given me his card programmer and these two cards to program, and he wants conax loaded onto them. I dont own a satellite receiver, so I have no way to test what I do to these cards, and I need some help to find out what the hell to do.

Now, I've gotten and installed both the Dynamite 2.6 loader program and the Jungo drivers. A couple of weeks ago I successfully installed the Predator 2.31 with conax firmware onto the dragon card, and it worked for a little while. He returned the cards not too long ago saying they're not working anymore, so I found an updated Dragon firmware (Predator 2.33 with conax) and I cant get it to load. All I get is a Dragon Card Reader error.

And I have not one single clue on what to do with the M-II card.

So... what the hell do I do? Reset the Dragon card and re-install? Burn the Dragon card, start with the M-II? (In which case, where the hell are the eeprom files for it? If you suggest this, please be specific.) Or do I just say to the actual owner of these cards 'go and get a PC, ya bum'?
