Looking for translators

Now Helenite RC1 is released, it's time to update all other languages we support.
We already have translators for Dutch, German, Frisian, Lithuanian, Czech and Italian. All other translations are not up-to-date now. If you would like to contribute to the PLi image and would like to have a better translation for your native language, please send me a PM with your E-mail address.

In short what you need to do:

1. First download your language pack on your Dreambox if you don't have it (the DM600 and 7020 may already have it).
2. Download poedit (Linux, Windows) on www.poedit.net
3. Open the file tuxbox-enigma.po with poedit
4. Start translating. There are already some (old) translations but please check if they are right. Also, some translations are marked as "fuzzy". The translations might be okay, but might also be wrong. You can recognize fuzzy translations because the text is yellow. Untranslated texts are blue. Translated texts are white.
5. Save the po file and you will also see a .mo file to be used in the Dreambox.
6. Save the .mo file on your Dreambox (/var/share/locale/<your language code>/LC_MESSAGES or in /share/locale/<your language code>/LC_MESSAGES in case the language is already built-in).
7. Restart Enigma and see if your translations are right.

You will get two language files: tuxbox-enigma.po for the texts in Enigma and plisetup.po for the texts in the PLi setup tool. The steps above also apply for plisetup.po but you can't test it as the PLi setup tool only supports three languages for now.

As a "reward" your name will be added to the thanks in the about screen. For any questions, please ask me.
