@PLI team (SQLite)

Hi,

I have some questions:

Is epg.db the database file for SQLite?

Under "Services" I find "channels", "providers" and "servicekey."
is this automatic createt by the image?

Under Enigmacache" I can also find start and stop times for different channels, but I can find any data about "program name" and "info bu program" where s thatstored?

Can you guys plz try to explain the database structure?
Is there anyway to import xmltv to this SQL database?

regards
/Providers

Yes. Garnet works with SQLite version 3.3.5. So, you can open it with SQLite tools based on this version. On a 7020 you can use the sqlite3 client app.

Yes it is created during when the database file is created. From then on services are added and removed when services are found or deleted in enigma. On pitfall: when you temporarily use the standard epg store, you may miss these events.

There is a field eitData in the table epgcache. This contains binairy data that is in EIT format. This is not the easiest format to read, but this is what enigma can read directly.

I have seen some 3rd party plugins and programs.

Yes, this file is plain SQLite3 and open. If you have a 7020 you can examine the file with the sqlite3 client tool. If you use an external tool, be sure to use the right version. SQLite is pretty critical about the version.

You can download "Dreambox EPG config" via the software downloads in PLi. That one uses the SQLite store.

Re: @PLI team (SQLite)

And with that plugin you will get a couple of scripts installed in /var/bin

Have a look a those scripts, that will tell you how to get the xmltv data into the epg store.
