Newcamd not starting. Very strange problem!!!

Hello everybody,

I have a dreambox DM500.Running on the latest PLi Flubber. This is the server for a cardshare. Done by Cardserver/Newcamd.
This share is connectable thru WAN. But sometimes we take the DM500 with us on a holiday. When I start the DM500 without connection to the internet it will not start and give me a picture. I searched what could be the problem and this is what I found out:
Cardserver is running correct. I know this because when I booted the box and plug in the cable afterwards I only have to reboot Newcamd and the picture returns.
But here comes the strange part.. If I plug in a cable in the network connector and leave the other side unconnected, I can reboot Newcamd and it works. If I don't put a cable in the box it will not reboot Newcamd and picture will stay black. This is very strange. Now we came back from holiday and even WITH the cable in the box Newcamd will not boot correctly. I have to reboot Newcamd manually every time we boot. This is since I discovered the problem. So it looks like a bug in PLi or in Newcamd or the combination. Or I was thinking it is a TCP/IP problem.
I do not know enough about the system that I can solve this problem, and I don't know if i'm the only one but maybe one of you guys can help me.
