PLi crashing on Canal Digitaal

Since a couple of days, my dreambox is crashing a couple of times every evening when tuned to Canal Digitaal (Netherlands).
It does not happen on other channels.
I heard from someone else that he has the same problem.

We both use newcamd.
Is this a known problem, and is there a fix for it?

if you two are the only who do have problems with newcamd at canal digitaal channels, then I guess a fix is not needed. Canal Digitaal and newcamd work good. I assume that you have switched off your dreambox and tried again. Try to start from the beginning: do a factory reset of your dreambox. Put your var to usb, cf or harddisk.

What makes you think we are the only two having problems?
And why would a fix not be needed in that (or another) case?

I have diff'ed the var (which is on USB) with a backup made last month and it does not show any suspicious changes.
A while ago I heard about problems like this occurring, and I did not see them myself. At that time I was running a very old version of everything.
Now, I see it happen on my own box. I expect a little bit more than the "reinstall everything" answer that you normally give to a Windows user that has seen his system crumble under spyware. When you cannot provide that, maybe someone else can.

Is noone seeing this? Is it not related to the same problem that happened about half a year ago? (from memory)

it may be related to the tricks that they have implemented that also cause old pace and echostar receivers to fail?
right now it does not happen. of course just now that I have setup a capture of the rs232 output :-(

I did not think that, I wrote: IF

If there are only one or two who have the problem you wrote and others with the same configuration do not have that problems, I think it is something else then an error in the image.

Maybe your problem is due to an error in the transponderlist.
