Timer recording doesn't work from DB500 with Flubber (?) EPG

Hello,

I recently upgraded my DB500 to Flubber and today upgraded to Flubber the Sequel. With Flubber's "own" EPG (the EPG with the PiG that doesn't work on the 500) it seems that timer recordings set from the DB don't work.

If I turn off the DB it will turn on itself and change to the designated channel, but no recording takes place. If I don't turn off the DB it will change the channel, but not record. In both instances it will, however, give a warning about a timer-recording in progress, if I try to change channels.

A timer event set from the Enigma Web interface does work. In that case a turned off DB doesn't turn itself on (sound does come, for some reason), and starts recording. Likewise, a realtime recording started from the remote or the Web interface also works. Also, when started the MV 3.1 EPG and placed a timer with that, recording works.

Is there some setting I'm missing?

Regards,

.brum

you mean the Multi EPG function

can you check your timer event and have a look if it is set to:

- switch
- record DVR
- Ngrab

It is a problem I've seen with 7000 also.
I had a 7000 before one year and with some images I could not get the timer to work. It worked only with the web interface.
Don't try to find what is wrong. You made everything good.
Strange but this is life.

Thank you, this solved it!

I had overlooked checking this setting, since it used to be "record DVR" as the default before. Or, at least, I donīt remember having to change that.

Is it possible to set "record DVR" as default?
