flubber and a the root problem

can anybody please tell how can i change the root from /var
to /hdd i cannt find any setting in the menu to change the root?
please help

The root is where you will start after login as root and this place is:
/

Euh, the root is the root, and nothing else ... it isn't /var currently, even thoug it looks simular it isn't the same.
So you can't change it to /hdd either.
