How do you use the WebIf?

Hi all,

the PLi team wants to know if you use the WebInterface and if you use it, where do you use it for....?

So let us know your WebIf behaviour and what the priority has for you on a scale from 1 to 10...

I can say for me, it is a priority of 1. It is a must.
I use it in my wireless netwrok to control my DM. I also, use it from the internet specially if I want to set a timer to record an event.
It would be great if one can control emus from the webif as other images do.

Same here, i use it to set programs when I'm away

I am using it everyday for programing recordings.

If I can have suggestion:
- possibility to typeing hour and minute from keyboard , not only drop list

Is there some documentation of the web interface, and if so: where?

For example: the stream button. I really cannot figure out what this screen does and how.

May be one should try and can figure out the function of each button. For the "stream" button, it simply streams files from your PC, so that you can watch them in your DM. I'm using this If I want to see Divx/Xvid movie from my PC into my DM.

It looks like some functions assume you are using it from a Windows box and/or have certain software installed. Other things work fine.
But it looks like it has many features going unnoticed because of the lack of documentation...

- small jpg file instead of big bmp
- second buton for preview low resolution screenshot
