Dreamup In Pli

Hi,
As I`m using HDD 40 GB and had moved var to it, sometimes I have problems... as some of you already know!! Yesterday another " break" and Universal DreamUp again. And again the same problem: when trying upload PLi, I have the message " flash successufly". Unplugged serial cable, button ON/OFF, and still the same PLI is booting and the image "loading"... for hours!! So I do the same, exactly the same, and upload Phoenix. Then I`ve image!!After that I update SW in menu and I got PLi again. So my question is: why I can upload directly with DreamUp, OLi?? FP 1.06??!!

Re: Dreamup In Pli

No problems here using DreamUp and PLi for uploading image. However, we do not use serial cable but only network. In fact that might not be the problem, but try to use network cable.

Re: Dreamup In Pli

Hi mate, I use Flash Wizard 6.3 install CVS 109.1[LZMA] in FLash. Then install PLi-Diamond in HDD. No problem at all...
Try it use Network cable. If you use serial, always remember to Hold the Top button to do 'Flash Erase' after re-flasing...
Happy testing

Re: Dreamup In Pli

Clean your Box , Use the Erase Image sometime.

( if you have Move /Var to USB or Hdd in the Past, manytimes it uses the Old settings from USB / Hdd )

Also Format Hdd and USB stick

Than you can start from scratch

Re: Dreamup In Pli

What about your Softcam SetUp ( i do not know or Forget that Post )

Butt with PLI you can Download all the Softcams from the Menu.

In the beginning it is a bit of a Puzzle to find it all, butt it is there.

Itīs the post before this one. No, I`ve no problem to work with it, only...it`s all in "white", the information has disappeared!! But I supose it`s all the same. I`m going to do some changes, CVS image ( I`ve 1.06), as you said a " good cleaning" in DB, instal first the original image of Dream MM, Plinux, change HDD from 40GB to 120GB... well, two years working hard every day...It will be a good week-end.... And I`LL BE BACK!!! As in the film! Thanks
