Gold Card Programming

I've tried not to ask any questions but i'm stumpped! :? I've been following the Newbies Satellite Encyclopedia to a tee but when i get to The Hex String Calculator it won't Calculate the coco1 from my sub card that I extracted using Card Wizard. I am using an Elvis Programmer and a gold card. any help appericated.

You dont necessarily have to read the coco from the card.

You can put the provider coco on the new card when you program it or the dth coco. Whilst there is no dth bouquet it still allows for the changing of provider bouquets with the "tv" button.
