Is your power surply more than 500ma i use 9v dc 1000 ma
if your power isnt hi eno it wont reset or has troble maintaining a conversation with the card i think
are u using a sub

yosy,
1000 ma wow, did you have to change the fuse? the one i was suplied with is rated at 500ma, my plug pac uses 300ma at 12v dc
but i have it switched on 9 volts.
hmmm......

using an old expired f****l card for learning purposed , until i know how to make a goldie from it! then ill use a sub to make a working goldie

a question

Ok, my jaycar kit came with 2 power supply options, 1 was a typical 9V jack like on any portable device, the other was a 4 pin jack just like the ones that u plug a hard drive in on your comp.
There was also 2 points on the kit to add a 9v battery.

I use the jack thats like the one u plug a hard drive in, coz i had a couple spare inside my comp for cd-rom's and drives.

yeah I run a plug-pac at 12vdc.
