eMtech new software

Hi

I'm a newbie here. You do have a wonderful forum.
I have an eMtech 200 receiver, and I've just heard that there is a new software that enables that receiver to internally discramble channels without the use of any cam or card

. But since I'm a newbie, I failed to find where such software could be found, and what other tools is needed to upload it to the receiver.
I'd be gratefull if you guys could help a newbie out here

You sure its for the Emtech ?
Theres Emu software for Dreambox and Nokia Dbox but never seen it for Emtech

I think what Solom meant is firmware upgtade so that the unit is allcammed. You still need a goldie to watch the encryted signal.

thanks for the replies, but I meant no godie or any othe cards or hardware. It is a new software-only solution. It turns eMtech FTA reciever to work as if it has a cam interface, a cam, and asmart card, all replaced by software only.

I've already seen it in my friend's receiver, its a new solution I guess that went out just days ago. It enabled my friend, who has no cam nor any smart cards, to view about 100 encrypted channels! including cart00n ntwk, dEskovaree, fuxkedz and more...

It works for both fta 100 model, and 2 cam interface 200 model.

There are also some other brands in the market now that comes with such software pre-installed, like kumax. But I dont know if the software used in different bands is the same of different in each model. I also dont know what url has such downloads and info. Some pro-hobbiests started already to modify peoples' sets to the new system for a fee. I was hoping to get the info needed to do it myself (they woundnt tell me, because they want to guard their business

anyone knows anything about all this, please?

hahahah....someone is pullin a very long chain...those channels are currently fta on certain muxes....so no trik...and the boxes will only be good with an emu as long as the details are valid...and i cant see them puttin those sorts of numbers in the box....tell em they are full of CRAP...new system hehehehe

what is 'emu'?, please note that I'm just a newbie here

anyway, what about mul-t-vijunn, all 7 channels open 24h, in a fta receiver. how can you explain that please?. Again, this is brand new, and info is dear at the moment. I was hoping some here has more info than i do to help me.

EMU is an appreviation of emulating softwware CAM
CAM = Conditional Access Module which is needed to decrypt encrypted paytv channels

so emu is a software? is it used to make an fta receiver as if it has a phesical cam?
