I’ve been looking around but I can’t find anything about this problem. Would you be so kind as to point my towards the solution?

I assume you have just the common interface running. You need to install an emu. Have a look in the Dreambox sections.

Hi i am a n00b to the dream box7000 i have install gemini 3.0 and have a legit selectTV card and got no idea how to get the internal card reader to work. i have downloaded newcs + mgcamd but have no clue where to upload to or know how to on this....

is there a tute on howto on this

Thanks for your reply.

The idea behind all this is to run the spider cam. So I have that emu selected “Spiderstart” but still can’t make the box to read the card. I’m not quite sure if I have to start the emu from telnet or not.
Let me fiddle around with other cams to make sure I’m doing things correctly and I’ll get back to you soon.

Alternatively, if you are running a spider I would very much appreciate if you could tell me which image you are using and some ruff settings/directives for me to start looking into this new thing. (New for me)

Hi,
I have the same problem a long while ago.
This is what I'd done, use with your own risk.

Try to reset to factory default from Dream/Menu, Setting.
After it done, press Blue button (assumming your Hydra have Sm@rtcam), you should have some emu installed.
Select an emu and press Green button.
Choose which active slot from each emu.

Note:
If you have a message that you can't enter emu settings, something wrong with your emu.
Uninstall and try to install it from Hydra control panel (Green button).
