Dbox 2

I flashed a sprtster 1.7.1 image on my nokia dbox 2 but on the restart in never booted back up so i unpulged it pluged it back in now it never seems to boot futher than a screen containing

Hi,
There are two different types of images for the DBox2, basically because there are two types of box. These are 1 chip Intel boxes (some older Sagem boxes) and 2 chip Intel boxes (all Nokias, all Phillips and some Sagem boxes). It makes no difference to the way an image works, but you cannot flash a 1 chip image to a 2 chip box. This is obviously what you have done. There is no way you get the image that's in you box at the moment to work, so your only solution is to re-flash your box with the correct type of image, i.e. a 2 chip image (or the image you were using previously which must have been a 2 chip image).

If you are re-flashing with another image, look for an image which has "2xI" somewhere in the title, as this signifies that it's 2 chip image.
