Cookiemonster is on a distinguished road
switches for multi lnb

G'day,

I want to set up two receivers to a bunch of lnbs.

I have heard about a SW34 switch, but am unclear on one thing.

If I plug in both receivers to two or three lnbs through this box, can both boxes receive from all lnbs at all times? Can they both receive the same channel at the same time?

Do I have to trunk SW34's and then run a single receiver off each switch for the two receivers to operate independent of one another?

At the moment, I have a daisy chain set up - and this is fine as there is only one lnb. I am certain I can't daisy chain with multiple lnbs unless there is a box of some sort in the mix, and not just a splitter.

Which would be the cheaper option?

Thanks in advance
