GGEdit Woes

I tried to get GGEdit (ggedit_2_12b.zip) going. I made sure i had all the .dlls that it was after. But at the end it just gave me a popup saying (Error loading from file) and then nothing.
So it didnt load anything. just that message. any idea what could be going wrong?
Could it be after a file that it isnt reporting?

I'm on a WinXP machine. Using an Elvis. let me know if any more info is needed.

Do you want to be a bit more specific in what you were doing at the time of the popup message.

Simply executing the file "ggedit_2_12b.exe"

Totally unrelated to your query, what game are the screenshots on your webspace from? Looks like fun. I love RPG's. I've played Neverwinter Nights over and over lately. Just waiting for the expansion pack to be released.. Cant wait!

That game is shadowbane. presently in beta testing.. but those pscreen shots where from an earlier build of the beta. it is looking even better now and alot more stable aswell. It will be released probably in a couple of months. It is only an online game (like Everquest) and its focus is on first character development then player verse player combat. Basicly anyone over about level 21 are made to leave the newby zone and can be attacked or attack anyone at will in the very large game world. Anyone can also build a massive city given the monetary resources, or pool into a large guild to make it alot easier to achieve. These cities can be sieged & destroyed by other enemie guilds. I would assume when it goes live they will charge players about $10-$15 per month for unlimited playing.

Sounds like fun thats for sure... The last online RPG I ever got into was MajorMUD, and it was text based only.. That was in the early 90's. I gave Ultima Online a go. Its not bad. I'll check Shadowbane out, thanks for that Bowen!

Yeah. i played LPMuds. and i played Ultima Online for MANY years. since when it was release but i gave it away when i got into this beta.. I played the oceania shard and the pvp on that shard was all but dead..

I still havent got a GGEdit reply message on this thread yet. let alone some possible way of getting it working or a work around.

Try LMEdit instead.
