Newbie Newbie Question

Hi Im a newbie to all this. I wish to buy a decent box and dish to receive F.

I have access to a card.

What Id like to know (I have read the newbies guide in tutorials) is it that simple? Or does the card become obsolete after a short period of time?

Also Im in Perth, can anybody tell me what a good setup is? and where I can buy it in Perth.

A good setup is one that foxtel or austar will give you when you get a Subscrition

Hi and Welcome

Step one:

Call Foxtel and pay for a subscription
They will install the dish and provide a STB and subscription card.

Step Two:

Read all the tutorials, particularly the Newbie one's.

And, yes it is that easy. Everyone will help you out, as long as you help yourself, by doing your homework.

When you build your card, it won't become obsolete, provided you maintain your subscription. (based on current Irdeto system)
