Talking Getting foxtel with videoguard encryption for free

About 1 hour ago guys when i was scanning frequencies with my humax ir 5401z i picked up the foxtel box office channels and I was able to watch the adult channel , adult select 1 and adult select 2 as well as box office preview. I kept on flicking through I left it on each for about 1 min then flicked through the channels then when i went back it said it was scrambled. Does anybody know why or how this happend?

Yeha it must be a break up in the encryption algorithm, which means on certain channels the Videoguard encryption goes offline for a short period. Im not sure how long but I will be working hard at it to see if that is a possibble weakness in the system by exposing itself for 1 minute or 2.

Nothing of what you are assuming is the thruth.
You say it is a moment for a minute or two that the encryption FAIL.
Is not the case.Actually is NEVER the case.
I sugest you to log the feed long enough to catch this moments where is open, and check the "scrambling flags" and the ecm at this very moment,so you can make conclusions based on some facts, not in your opinion.
I'm sure it is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of "maintenance" when they need to trun off the encryption momentarily.
This happen to most any provider, and you portrait it as a failure or a weakness.
Well,is not.
Fire up your logger.

Lightbulb

Apparently in America which uses Videoguard for their DirectTv broadcasts they have already cracked their videoguard encryption according to other forums throughout the internet? does anybody know if this is true, and if so it would be differrent here in Australia. But if this is the case we need an American satellite guy in this forum so any help or feedback would be really handy.
Please post any information you have, queries or questions.
